CMI Concrete was born from the determination and hard work of Frank Clement, who started the company with nothing more than a wheelbarrow and a shovel. With a vision for quality craftsmanship and a tireless work ethic, Frank began laying house slabs in Orono, Maine. His dedication to excellence laid the foundation for what would become a family legacy, turning small projects into a thriving business over time.

For more than 30 years, CMI Concrete has remained a family-owned and operated business, growing from its humble origins into a leader in the concrete industry. Starting as a small house slab company, it now boasts a skilled crew of workers who collectively place over 1 million square feet of concrete flatwork and walls annually. This growth reflects the Clement family’s commitment to delivering unparalleled quality and service.

Family Centered Team
At its heart, CMI Concrete is more than just a business—it’s a family. Frank Clement, the company’s founder and owner, works alongside his wife Tracey Clement, who serves as Treasurer, and their daughter Hannah Kershner, the Vice President. Completing the leadership team is Noah Kershner, Frank’s son-in-law, who serves as Engineer and Project Manager. Together, they foster a tight-knit work environment, where every team member feels like part of the family.
